There are two services you'll need for a functioning site - a domain and a website hosting plan for it. Each time you type the domain in your browser, you see the content that is uploaded inside the web hosting account, but if that domain address isn't linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it's parked. Put simply, the domain name is registered and you are its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it can be forwarded to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and make certain that nobody else is going to take it. In the meantime, it will not take a slot for a hosted domain address inside your account. You may also park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domains with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main website as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Cloud Web Hosting

With each and every cloud web hosting package which we offer you will be able to park as many domain addresses as you wish and in contrast to other companies, we do not have any fees for that. However, this can be done only for domain addresses which are registered through us because parking a domain is possible only through the registrar, but not through the host unless you have the two services with only one company. We have a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can conveniently park and un-park domain names, choose one of the templates that we offer and add custom text to it, or forward a domain name to a URL of your preference. If you host a parked domain name, our system will change its name servers and set up a folder in the File Manager automatically. Additionally you can set filters to check out only the parked or only the hosted domain names, which will enable you to handle them quick and simple.
